Do, mi nun skribas la 12an NES novajxletero; pasis unu plena jaro ekde
la unua novajxletero en Majo 2002. Cxiu novajxletero legeblas cxe nia
retejo (nur angllingvaj dum la unuaj 8 monatoj). Nia unua kunveno okazis
en Junio dum la Stomp kultura festo. Bedauxrinde, Stomp ne okazos
cxi-tiun jaron, sed ni eble partoprenos en la Fiesta kultura festo.
La kurseto ankoraux okazos en Oktobro, sed ni ne jam havas iom ajn
da registroj! Mi forte rekomendas ke cxiu ensendu siajn registrilojn tiom
baldaux, kiom eble. Ni ankaux ne havas ne-Novkastelanaj instruistoj,
do tion ankaux ni deziregas.

Venonta kunveno: Sabato, 31a Majo je la 3a ptm cxe la Novkastelo
Ekologia Hejmo (Newcastle EcoHome), 67a Hobart Rd. New Lambton 2305
(diagonale kontraux "West's"). Se vi volas veni, bonvolu konsili min pere de
retposxto aux alia kontaktmetodo. Ne estas la unua Sabato de la monato,
kiel normale, sed la tago antaux la 1a dimancxo, por ke ni povu helpi la

Esperanto kurseto: Sabato, 11a Oktobro je la 3a ptm cxe la Novkastelo Ekologia
Hejmo (adreso super). Ni havas registrilojn haveblajn, nur petu al ni. La
kosto estas $5 kiu devas esti pagota antaux ol la 11a SEPTEMBRO. Se ne suficxaj
lernontoj pagos, ni nuligos la kurseto, do nepre pagu frue. Se vi jam havas

Je Sabato, Aprilo 5a nia cxiumonata kunveno okazis. Nur Jonathan kaj
Andreo cxeestis. Ni plibonigis nian vortstokon. Ni ankaux instruis Esperanton
iomete al la enlogxanto de la Ekologia Hejmo, Sue Hill, kaj sxia filino kaj
ties amiketo. Nun la filino kaj sia amiketo povas diri "Saluton" kaj "Gxis".
Espereble ili ankoraux memoros kiam ni sekvontfoje venos!

Bedauxrinde, Kim ne povos veni al la venontaj kelkaj kuvenoj cxar sxi
devas studadi pli zorge por sia universitata kurso. Sxi certigis al mi ke tio
ne estis cxar sxi ne deziris instrui - kvankam sxi iomete timis pro tio!

Mi (Jonathan) ne cxeestos la Julian kunvenon cxar mi ne estos en Novkastelo -
ne ecx en Auxstralio! Mi iras kun mia familio al Belgujo, kie mi probable kunvenos
kun belgaj esperantistoj. La kunveno probable ne okazos, sed mi informos
vin pli proksime al la dato.

===========ENGLISH TRANSLATION===========

So, I now write the 12th NES newsletter; it's been a whole year since
the first newsletter in May 2002. You can read all the newsletters at
our wbsite (only in English for the first 8 months). Our first meeting was
in June at the Stomp cultural festival. Unfortunately, Stomp won't happen
this year, but we might take part in the Fiesta cultural festival.
The course will still go ahead for Octover, but we don't yet have any
registrations! I strongly recommend that everyone send in their registration
forms as soon as possible. We also don't have non-novocastrian teachers,
so we'd really love any offers of help.

Coming events:
Next meeting: Saturday, 31st May at 3pm at Newcastle EcoHome, 67a Hobart
Rd. New Lambton 2305 (diagonally opposite West's). If you want to come, please
let me know by email or otherwise. It isn't the first Saturday of the month, as
normal, but the day before the first Sunday, so that we may help the EcoHome.
All are welcome!

Esperanto course: Saturday 11th October at 3pm at Newcastle EcoHome (address
above). We have forms available, just ask us. The cost is $5 which must be payed
before the 11th of September. If not enough people register, we'll cancel the
course, so it's important that you pay early. If you already have forms and
haven't payed, please do so. The earlier, the better.

Society news:
On Saturday, April 5th our monthly meeting happened. Only Jonathan and
Andrew came. We improved our vocabulary. We also taught Esperanto a bit
to the resident of the EcoHome, Sue Hill, and her daughter and her daughter's
little friend. Now the daughter and her friend can say "Saluton" (Hello) and
"Gxis" (Bye). Hopefully they will still remember when we come next time!

Unfortunately, Kim won't be able to come to the next few meetings because
she needs to concentrate on her university studies. She insisted that it
wasn't because she didn't want to teach - although she was a bit worried
about it!

I (Jonathan) won't be at the July meeting because I won't be in Newcastle - not
even in Australia! I'm going with my family to Belgium, where I'll probably meet
with Belgian esperantists. The meeting will probably not happen, but I'll let you
know closer to the date.

The July meeting probably won't happen
Jonathan will teach for the August meeting
